Our Agility Show

Every year in June the Club members organise and run a week long event which is probably one of the largest dog agility shows in the North West of England.  It is held at Westmoreland County Showground at Crooklands near Kendal and is conveniently situated at junction 36 just off the M6.  The venue has the space and facilities to house the 300+ camping pitches needed and the 11 rings  for the courses to be laid out.

As well as being an Open Show which is open to anybody, for top handlers  we also have Premier status which includes Kennel Club qualifiers for Crufts, Discover Dogs and Olympia. In addition, we have a Championship class midweek which is divided into three separate rounds with the winner and second place dogs awarded Agility Certificate and a Reserve Agility Certificate.   For younger handlers we have the YKC qualifiers for Crufts.

In 2019 we were chosen to host Agility Team GB, the winners who will go on to quality for the team that will represent Britain at International events.

There are a large number of Clubs throughout the UK (including Lune) who organise KC agility shows.  They are available to view and to enter on the following websites.
